2. How far in advance should I book?
The sooner, the better! We recommend booking as soon as you have your preferred date and location in mind.
For weddings and larger events, we encourage booking several months in advance to ensure availability. Portrait sessions may be booked closer to the desired date, depending on our schedule.
Please note that your date is not officially secured until the required booking retainer has been received.
3. Is a deposit required to book?
Yes! A booking retainer is required to reserve your date and time.
For standard portrait sessions, the retainer is 25% of your total session price, with a $50 minimum. This amount goes toward your final balance and is generally non-refundable, subject to our cancellation policy.
Weddings and larger events may have different booking requirements outlined in your agreement.
4. How long does it take to receive my final photos?
We take pride in delivering professionally edited images with attention to detail and quality.
Portrait Sessions: Once you've submitted your final favorite selections from your proof gallery, your completed images will be delivered within 7–14 business days.
Please note that this turnaround begins after your final selections have been submitted, not immediately after your photo session.
Events & Weddings: Delivery times vary depending on the coverage, number of images, and editing requirements. Your expected turnaround will be discussed before booking and confirmed in your agreement.
5. How do I select my favorite photos after my portrait session?
After your portrait session, you'll receive access to a private Pixieset proof gallery where you can review your images and select your favorites.
Simply mark the images you love using the gallery's Favorites feature and submit your completed selections.
Once we receive your selections, we'll begin the final editing process.
6. Do you charge travel fees?
Yes, travel fees may apply depending on the location of your session.
Travel within 30 driving miles of East Stroudsburg, PA, is included in our standard service area. Locations beyond that distance may require an additional travel fee to cover transportation expenses and travel time.
Have a particular destination in mind? Let us know! We'll be happy to provide a travel quote before booking.
7. What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
We understand that plans can change!
If you need to reschedule your portrait session, please contact us as soon as possible. We recommend giving at least 72 hours' notice whenever possible.
One complimentary reschedule may be available, subject to our cancellation and rescheduling policies and scheduling availability.
Wedding and event cancellations follow the terms outlined in their respective agreements.
8. Can I purchase additional edited photos?
Absolutely! If you fall in love with more images than your package includes, additional professionally edited photos may be available for purchase.
Additional images are priced separately based on your session package. Just let us know which photos you would like to add!
9. Can I share my photos on social media?
Of course! We love seeing our clients share their finished photos.
We simply ask that you share and tag TrueJEM Photography using your final, professionally edited images, rather than unfinished proofs.
When posting, we'd appreciate a tag on Instagram at @truejem_photography.
For the best possible image quality, please download your photos directly from your gallery instead of taking screenshots.
10. How will I receive my completed photos?
Your final edited images will be delivered digitally through a private online Pixieset gallery.
You'll receive a link to view and download your high-resolution images, making it easy to save your photos and share them with family and friends.
We recommend downloading and backing up your completed images as soon as you receive them. If you cant download your photos
because of storage we suggest buying a flash drive to back up and store your photos ( Minimum 128 gig ).
